From Isaac to Moses: Walking in faith (and evangelising!) when life doesn't go the way I've planned!

"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might hope or imagine." (Ephesians 3:20)

Last month we looked at the source of our joy and strength is God's call and promise: as a community that evangelises this is the fuel for our action, and the sat-nav for our journey!

As we continue to walk through the earliest books of God's Word, we explore the reality that things rarely go the way WE'VE planned it. The promise of Abraham is passed from generation to generation: from Isaac to Jacob, from Jacob to Joseph, from Joseph to Moses. Things rarely go according to human design: the Lord is a God of surprises, leading us to places and situations that we could never have hoped for, or desired. His ways are always right for us. His call remains, and his dream for our city, country, nation and world is stable (John 3:16)

So the adventure continues! We ask the question: how do we continue to journey in faith fufilling our call when things seem to be falling apart?

Once again, we'll have Simona and Marielle accompanying us in worship, in what promises to be a special day together!

Koinonia Day is not the same without you! We'll see you in the Chaplaincy at Queens on Sunday 5th November!
