For all our mothers and grandmothers: Thank you!

Every child is God’s gift to the world for it’s blessing and growth. It is no mistake that the Lord has called you to care for them and to nourish them in the Lord. Thank you from all of us!

EPEHESIANS 3:14-21
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.”

PROVERBS 1:8-9
“Hear, my child…
do not reject your mother’s teaching;
for it is a fair garland for your head,
and a beautiful pendant for your neck.”

ACTS 16:31 (God’s Promise for your family!)
“Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

2 TIMOTHY 1:5 (Your faith is your heritage – the light on the lampstand!)
“I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that lived first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, lives in you.”

PROVERBS 31:25-31
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.”

PHILIPPIANS 4:13
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

JOSHUA 24:15(b)
“…as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
